Hello dear friend. I know it's been a month, but I do hope this note finds you well in this strange new world we are living in.
I have been very busy with work. My classes have all been canceled, but luckily, I have a website business that I have been growing for the last ten years. Since I work at home alone and do everything by myself anyway, I have been able to remain open. Some friends have been asking me to do videos, but my fingernails and hands are a dried up mess right now from all ...

Hi ya! Sorry I missed last week and the week before. The virus had me taking care of things such as having my classes canceled through June. I had to do a little regrouping as I purchased TONS of Valdani thread to get me through a year of teaching. I had a big sale that I was going to share with you last week and then poof, we lost the internet for 15 hours because someone on the road construction crew decided that cutting a major fiber optic line was a good thing to do when everyone is staying home ...

I never got around to posting about Houston when I was there teaching the end of October. I tell ya, the fall was a total blur with teaching gigs and travel to England. As always, the festival was amazing! This year was the sapphire celebration. I absolutely loved all the blue and white.
Here are some of the quilts I fell in love with along with the labels from the makers, which tells the story behind each creation.
Did you have a favorite? It's hard to pick isn't it?
I hope you enjoyed these and I ... read more

Here's the photos of our kitchen from the previous owners. These were professional photos, so the kitchen actually looks better than it did in real life. Photoshop is an amazing tool. Just say'in. ;)
Again, previous owners when the house was for sale. Now, there is nothing wrong with this kitchen at all. It's functional and gets the job done, but it's just not us. Way to boring and not enough cozy cottage feel. We knew we wanted a white kitchen and after two and ... read more
It's hard to believe that 6 years ago, in 2014, I launched "Fellowship of the Flowers." This was a year long adventure in which every week, for 50 weeks, friends, who joined the adventure, would visit my blog to see and be inspired by how I stitched one of 5 flowers.
I designed 5 flowers and used each one of them ten different times throughout the year. No two were alike and I used various colors, stitches and embellishments on each one.
In addition, participants also received 12 different projects as part of the fellowship. My "Beekeeper Pincushion" was ... read more
So this last "bit" of my England trip is so special for me to share with you.
First, this is Sharon who came to Sallieann's home to show me her "Adventures of Harrington and Hannah" quilt. This is one of my most beloved designs and having Sallieann, my quilting student from 20 years ago, teach it to her students makes my heart full. Thank you Sharon for coming to visit, sharing your incredible quilt and for bringing carrot cake!
I still sell this pattern on my website if you would like to make one. Click HERE.
Next, I also ... read more
So this is the last of the sights from my adventure across the pond. On Wednesday I will share the extra special keepsake I brought back. I'm still pinching myself that I got it. :)

I must say, so am I. Especially, the cottages in the Cotswolds! The charm, coziness and pure magic made me so happy! If you follow me on Facebook, you will see a video that Jules took of me there. I couldn't get the smile off my face.
This cottage actually went across ... read more
Hi ya! Are you worn out with my England vacation yet? LOL! I promise, there are only a few more posts to go. I must say that I have truly enjoyed living it all over again. Of course, it also makes me want to go back right away!
As I mentioned before, we visited, and truly enjoyed, the National Trust Properties. I know if I lived in England, I would be a member so I could go to these properties all the time. They are absolutely wonderful!
Oh my gosh was Stourhead a magical place! One of my all time ...
Hi ya! I must say, I am enjoying writing Part III of this adventure. As you know, I am a textile artist, author and instructor. I simply love inspiring creativity in my students.
Best friends are the fairytale of life. They've been there since Once Upon a Time
and will be there till Happily Ever After.
October 4th, my best friend of forty years, Beth Gill and I set off on an adventure across the pond to England. Neither of us has ever been out of the country. Our husbands don't travel well and they weren't really interested in going. So having "girlfriend time" without pouting husbands on this incredible trip, was yet another gift. The first photo was from our first trip together when we were 14. We went ... read more
Am I the only one who is in utter disbelief that 20 years passed by so quickly? Weren't we all just saying "Y2K," freaking out about the computer bug and singing Prince's song "1999? Back then, I was working for state government as a secretary. They sent me to the office right before midnight on New Years Eve to sit there and watch the office computers in case they blew up. Like I could do anything about it if they did! Fire extinguisher? Garden hose? Bucket of water? LOL! So ridiculous.

Hello dear friends,
Well, it's been a while. Quite a long while in fact. Summer and fall came and went and now it's Christmas day. There have been many adventures along the way and much I want to share with you. So, this is just a quick hop in to let you know that starting next Wednesday, New Years day, I will return to blogging once a week on Wednesdays. I have missed posting on my little peaceful place in this world and I have also missed sharing stories with you.
I hope to see you here next ... read more
Hi my friends! Well, a week turned into two, turned into three, turned into two months! It's how it is sometimes. I just can't keep up with everything I need to do. As I mentioned before, Facebook and Instagram are where I post because it just takes a few seconds to share something with you. So if you are on those, please follow me under The Raspberry Rabbits.
However, I still do love to keep up with my friends who enjoy reading my blog, so here we go with what has been going on here in Bunnyville.
First ...
Hello my friend! I do hope you have been enjoying your Spring. Isn't it crazy how fast the month of May has gone by? It's been busy around here in Bunnyville with some new designs, having dead trees cut down from the yard and trying to get people to do what they say they are going to do. What is up with that???
Anyway, I wanted to share some Play Date news. Teaching is my favorite part of what I do. I get down-right giddy seeing my student's imagination and creativity come to life. It's so ...
